ACTIFED DECONGESTANT SYRUP 100ML

Actifed Syrup has a multi-action formula which contains a decongestant (pseudoephedrine) to relieve nasal congestion as well as blocked sinuses and catarrh, and an anti-histamine (triprolidine) works in two ways, firstly it relieves allergy symptoms such as sneezing or hayfever, then it has a drying action so dries up a runny nose and watery eyes.

Adults and children over 12: Two 5ml spoonfuls every 4-6 hours up to four times a day.

Children aged 6-12: One 5ml spoonful every 4-6 hours up to three times a day. Max daily dose is 15ml, no more than three doses should be given in 24 hours. Do not use for more than 5 days without consulting with a doctor or pharmacist, may cause rebound congestion which is worse than the original congestion.

May cause drowsiness. If affected, do not drive or operate machinery. Avoid alcoholic drink.
