ANBESOL ANAESTHETIC ANTISEPTIC OROMUCOSAL SOLUTION

Anbesol provides fast, effective relief from both sore gums and painful mouth ulcers. It contains both antiseptic (chlorocresol 0.1%and cetylpyridinium chloride 0.02%) and anaesthetic (lidocaine hydrochloride 0.9%) properties.

To Use: Adults, the elderly and children over 10 can apply directly to the sore area with a clean fingertip. Two immediate applications should bring about effective pain relief and numb the affected area. It can be reapplied every 3 hours as required.

Also contains: Ethanol, Levomenthol, Glycerol, Purified water, E104, E110, E123,E142.

Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients or have porphyria. 

Avoid use if:

you are taking anti-arrythmic drugs for irregular heartbeat, beta blockers, blood pressure or migraine medication, quinine for cramps, codium or diamorphine for pain relief.

if you are taking methylcellulose for constipation, or cimetidine for stomach ulcers

erythromycin, an antibiotic, or itraconazole, an antifungal.

calcium chloride for low calcium levles.
